SHILLONG, JUNE 6: The disbanding ceremony of the United Achik Liberation Army (UALA) has been postponed to June 9, West Garo hills deputy commissioner Pravin Bakshi informed on Monday. He said he was postponing based on the fresh directions from the government. Earlier, the disbanding ceremony was proposed to be held on June 8.
Bakshi also informed the verification has already started for the UALA cadres and the arms which are to be submitted are getting compiled and organized for the disbanding.-By Our Reporter
