SHILLONG, OCT 8: The West Jaintia Hills deputy commissioner has directed all arm Llcense holders to renew their licenses and get their arms registered under National Database of Arms License (NDAL) if they had not done so before.
The direction came on the order of the union government. Â The directive said all license holders are to comply with the notice within a period of 1 month from the date of publication of the order failing which their license shall stand cancelled automatically and weapons shall be seized without further notice.
The directive said this is the third and final notice to all arms license holders.- By Our Reporter
