School safety training

SHILLONG, JULY 9: The five day training for teachers and officials under National School Safety Programme organized by the District Disaster Management Authority of East Garo Hills, Williamnagar got underway at District Rural Development Authority from Tuesday. It may be mentioned that the five day training on National School Safety Programme is  organized with the aim to reduced the impact and facilitate effective response in case of any  emergency situation.

Present at the programme was Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills B Hajong who stated that the five day training on National School Safety Programme will benefits the officers and teachers in risk mitigation and reduction.- By Our Reporter
